ABOUT THE TOUR
On our tour, you have 5 hours to explore the National park.
Our goal is to enable you to enjoy the National Park at your own pace.
Instead of walking behind a guide and following the rhythm of the group, our tour gives you the freedom to choose what you want to see and how far you want to walk.
And no, don't worry, you won't get lost.
All trails in the National Park are very well marked, and our drivers/assistants will give you additional explanations before entering the park.
There is also a Plitvice application that you can download, and Wi-Fi in the park is free. In addition, each guest receives a number from the driver before entering the park and can always contact him in case of need.
If you like to walk and want to see both Upper and Lower lakes, great! You will follow route C. Your pace will be a little faster, but you will see the whole park.
If you prefer a slower pace and want to have enough time for breaks along the way, taking photos, resting by a waterfall or lake, you will take route B. This route is the "best off" of the Plitvice Lakes and passes by the Great waterfall, includes electric boat and train rides, and a wonderful view from the top of the canyon.
You will also have enough time to buy souvenirs, have a casual coffee or even have lunch at a nearby restaurant.
Visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park is an absolute delight during any season.
If you want to spend an active and exciting afternoon, the Plitvice Lakes tour should be on your list. This unique natural wonder holds a place on UNESCO's World Heritage list, and it's no surprise.
Every time of the season creates a sight so special and otherworldly that you'll find nowhere else.
Plitvice National Park is often included on lists of waterfalls you need to see during your lifetime so maybe you've already seen pictures of sixteen interconnected lakes and 90 dazzling waterfalls with crystal clear water, surrounded by plump forest and kilometers of boardwalk - but don't leave it to that.
Intact vegetation, murmuring sound of water and kilometers of various paths make Plitvice Lakes a hikers paradise.
